About Us

We're The Relish Tray Bistro and Speakeasy, and we've been a premier bistro in Baraboo, WI, since 2020. We specialize in serving delicious organic dishes made in small batches with fresh ingredients and locally-raised meat. Our food is made fresh every day. No deep fryers are used in the preparation of any of our dishes. Our menu includes a wide variety of choices, including our daily special, craft beer, burgers, and much more. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack or something more filling, we have something for everyone. I chose to have lunch at The Relish Tray Bistro & Speakeasy to celebrate my 72nd birthday today, 5/1/25. I have dined there previously and enjoy what I call a French-style of dining; healthy local ingredients, perfect poriton sizes, excellent service, and a good variety of meal options. My husband chose the Shrimp Scampi, and I, the Salmon with Ameretto sauce and a side of fresh vegetables with a dill dip. The salmon and shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the sauces, while flavorful, did not overwhelm the taste of the fish but complemented them. The toasted herbed bread was a fine choice to serve with the shrimp for dipping into the sauce. The vegetables were crispy fresh. I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio with the meal. I highly recommend this establishment and some of the different from typical Midwestern norm menu items, especially for those who seek portion sizes like I have experienced in France. We ordered from the Small Plate section. I left feeling energetic and satisfied. They do offer several types of burgers, fish dishes, and salads, and vegetarian selections. Amber and her staff did an amazing job of catering the Celebration of Life. The setup was perfect for guests and the food was delicious!!!! We had the get together at the Speak Easy in the basement of the Relish Tray & Bistro.
